Moab, UT, June 24, 2010 – The one-stop, multi-activity Moab Adventure Center http://www.moabadventurecenter.com/ recently received its seventh consecutive Best of State Award for Adventure Travel from the state of Utah, announced Brandon Lake, co-founder of Moab Adventure Center. The Best of State award is Utah's premier recognition and awards program created to recognize outstanding individuals, organizations and businesses in Utah.
The annual accolades date to Moab Adventure Center’s inauguration in 2004 when Lake recognized that travelers needed a truly convenient location and website to plan every adventure available in the Moab area. This included day trips, multi-day trips and packages that combine lodging and activities.
Travelers responded. Total guests have grown from 8,000 in 2006 to an anticipated 30,000 this year. “The growth over the past several years is due in large part to the convenience and excellent customer experience provided by Moab Adventure Center. We make it easy to plan a simple 2-hour off-road safari or an entire week of adventure, all with the assurance that you’ll have the time of your life,” said Lake.

This year, Moab Adventure Center is excited to offer hot air ballooning for the first time ever. Adventures like this can be combined with other popular experiences like river rafting, canyoneering, and mountain biking. “Shorter experiences like this allow people to be fairly spontaneous about planning an adventure in Moab. A quick weekend getaway can be planned a few weeks out,” he added.
As a special 2010 season incentive to package a variety of experiences together, the Moab Adventure Center is offering a 10% savings on each activity when combining three or more adventures.
