MOAB, UT, Feb 25, 2021 – Exceeding client expectations is built into Moab Adventure Center’s DNA.
During the pandemic and moving forward to what hopefully will soon be post-pandemic, this tour operator in Moab, Utah, continues to wow clients who long for the experience of rafting on the Colorado River.
Last year’s season, foreshortened by several weeks and imbued with newly instituted protocols, saw a marked increase over 2019 in demand for half-and full-day river rafting trips.
Anticipating a similar surge in 2021, Manager Cort Wright reports that planning for increased demand continues to incorporate last season’s pandemic-driven protocols that have proved effective so far.
Also, this year incorporates more guides, more equipment and additional launch times each day. Until no longer necessary, each raft will continue to carry just 6 passengers, plus guide, instead of the usual 10 guests to accommodate social distancing. Guests may also opt for travel in two-person inflatable kayaks. With the additional guides, equipment and launch times, the number of clients on Colorado River morning, afternoon and full-day trips will double this season. This will allow Moab Adventure Center to keep up with the increased demand while still accommodating smaller groups on each raft.
River rafting is Moab Adventure Center’s most sought-after activity. As in the past, 2021 will see three variations on the theme of its half-day and full-day rafting trips:

In addition to booking activities online and last minute, the Moab Adventure Center is seeing an uptick in bookings of multiple activities, over multiple days via one easy transaction.
“We’re a vacation destination where people can feel comfortable getting outside in the fresh air and sunshine. We see Moab as an increasingly attractive drive-to market where Arches and Canyonlands National Parks act as magnets, offering travelers enticing places to escape and take a deep breath,” said Wright.
Moab’s vacation-related accommodations are open for business and continue to follow cleaning protocols between each room use. Area restaurants are open both for carry-out and inside and patio seating with a limited number of patrons spaced appropriately. Travelers won’t want to wait too late to book their accommodations and tours though, as many are already selling out for 2021.
